If I have a task in Todoist with a set time, it's really conceptually the same as a calendar event (a thing that I have to go do at a set time). My usage has changed now though, such that (2) is no longer true. Originally I kept them separate because 1) I didn't want Todoist to mess up my main Google Calendar via bugs (which was a good call, at least at first), 2) because I felt that, conceptually, Todoist tasks were different from calendar events. Well, my thinking here is that I'll get any calendar invites to show up automatically in Todoist (I've been doing weird copy to calendar stuff in Google Calendar as of late).
